Xref Mirror Text

Have formed an xref of a house grnd flr layout inserted into drwg with no problems but I`d like a handed version aswell,have mirrored the layout xref in the drwg but the text mirrors aswell,can`t seem to prevent this even when I`ve used the mirrtext command,have resorted to forming a second, `handed` xref to resolve,is there another way to address this issue?

so you would like to mirror the xref but not the text? i assume your text is in model space?

I think that what you will want to do is create the text as attributes.

Save a copy of the XREF and call something like "Op Hand" or something like that. Mirror it with MIRRTEXT set to 0 and move it or set the base point to something appropriate.
