I just started on a new project and I'm at the rendering stage. My previous project, also a very complex architectural model, was rendered at 100% CPU usage. For my current project, CPU usage only goes up to about 33%, which makes the rendering time extremely long. Any idea what may have caused this?

My specs are as follow:

3DS Max 2012 + Vray 2.3

Core i7 3770k (no overclock, yet)

32gb DDR3 RAM

GTX 560 OC

Haha, I think i just found the solution. I increased the dynamic RAM limit from 4.9gb to 20gb. It seems to be rendering at full load now. Shall update this thread if this turns out to be a permanent solution :)

Here is another tip, Set the value to 0 and it will use as much ram as it wants, Careful though you might not have enough ram for certain scenes.
