Hello all,

I'm trying to create a topographic map using 200+ (x,y,z) data points that I already loaded into an excel file, but I can't figure out how to apply them to my AutoCAD.

I've already looked around at a few lisp programs, and I've downloaded them, loaded them, but when I try to activate them in the command box I type them in and nothing happens.

I'm running on 2013 AutoCAD Mac edition.

If anyone knows a way to help me, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Reno

Can plain old autocad just import the .csv file you created in excel ? I work primarily with Map and Civil and they can import those files?

I've tried importing the csv file and no error pops up, but there aren't any coordinates or anything at all actually showing up on my screen

Try setting the point type, ddptype at the command line. What command did you use to import the excel file?
