b13 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 A bit of a amateur question but, I would like to know how to export an image (JPG) of an AutoCAD drawing. Apparently I have to first set up a plotter but I'm not sure how this is done on the Mac version. Thanks Ben Quote
ReMark Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Export an image? Heck, in Windows you just use a screen capture program or a key combination to capture what's on the screen. Tell me there is no such feature on a Mac. Capturing an image has nothing to do with AutoCAD and everything to do with either the OS you are running or another program (ex. - Snagit). Quote
b13 Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 Thanks ReMark but that's what I've been doing so far. I've found out how to do it on windows but no joy for mac... Quote
Mike_Taylor Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 When you plot a drawing there is a JPEG printer (Publish To Web JPG). Alternatively you can use the JPGOUT command which essentialy screen captures only your drawing area. Quote
