f700es
My bad, I was looking from my iPod and did not see the section. Doh! Would a smooth modifier work on a circle like it does on other objects? I mess with max very little.
james120479
If it's been created as a circle within the max shapes panel you should be able to increase the interpolation steps within the modify panel to the right
Cad64
I create a circle but it looks like a polygon which consist of many edges. That's how circles look in Studio Max. They are made up of many edges. The more edges you have, the smoother the circle will look. It would help to know what you're planning on doing with this circle. Are you going to convert it to an editable poly and then extrude it? If so, you might be better off just leaving interpolation alone and add a Turbosmooth modifier after extruding. Or use NURMS Subdivision. It all depends on what the circle will be used for.
