qball Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 I used Autocad's built in DWGtoPDF.pc3 for publishing pdfs. They appear fine in Adobe Reader. But when I print on the HP or Richoh printers, the company logo is missing. The logo is a complex series of lines that make an isometric view of a building. If I change the setting in Adobe Reader Printer settings to "Plot as Image" it works okay. But printing to the 24x36 HP printer it gets hung up and freezes. I know there's probably dozens of settings and incompatibilities so any thoughts are appreciated. Quote
mdbdesign Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Did you try to plot to other than AutoCAD own pdf printer? Quote
Squirltech Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 If plotting as an image, can you decrease the vector graphics? If so, try that. This is what we did when our plotter would hang up on images that would usually plot without issue. Hope this helps. Quote
qball Posted May 16, 2013 Author Posted May 16, 2013 I tried CutePDF as well. It seems to have the same issue. CutePDF produces a pretty blurry screen image as well. Quote
