AutoCAD installation question

I am wondering if anyone knows if you can download AutoCAD onto a Dell Thinkpad?

What version of AutoCAD?

Is your Thinkpad 32-bit or 64-bit?

Does it meet the minimum system requirements for the version of AutoCAD you are looking at? How much RAM is installed?

What are the specs for your Thinkpad? Does it have an onboard graphics chip or a dedicated graphics card?

Will you be creating mainly 2D drawings, 3D, or a combination of both?

Are you a student by any chance?

Was bored poking around and uhhh did this guy just vanish off the face or the forums? Ask a question then bail? Lol

Those questions were textbook by the way!

I am not sure of the reasoning behind joining a forum, asking a question, then never responding to the inevitable questions that are asked in return. Maybe the OP was just bored or quickly decided to change career paths and go into accounting. Not that accounting is a bad career choice but I for one could not sit at a desk all day pushing numbers around. What's the fun/challenge in that? Sounds pretty boring to me.

Re: questions. Thanks. If people would only provide as much information in their initial post as they could we wouldn't have to ask so many questions of our own. We could actually get right down to providing an answer. Ah...but what's the fun in that, right?

Strange post, Dell doesn't make the Thinkpad, it is IBM/Lenovo.
