Automatically Dimension

I have been using Autocad LT 2006 for quite some time now for my companies very, very small capacities

 

I have to dimension dxf files from our parent company in ireland, for various manufactured parts.

 

I am inquiring if their is a faster/quick dimension tool that would automaticly dimension the points that come up on the object when i dimension it.

 

Some of these drawings have a lot of dimensions and when they come over to us they are not dimensioned any help here would be great

Can you elaborate? which 'points'?

I know where you are coming from I wrote a lisp progam for housing dimensioning that allows you pick the outside points of a building and it automatically then dimensions all walls it crosses. Finds any crossing lines based on the two points picked.

 

Sorry the lisp is copyright but I can certainly tell anyone how to do it. Sorry will not work with LT.
