alijahed Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Hi All, please see this: http://ffden-2.phys.uaf.edu/211_fall2004.web.dir/Jeff_Levison/Freebody%20diagram.htm Is there any way to use gravity force and Friction to create a motion instead of using drive constraints? I simply want to put a box on a slope and see if it moves (according to its weight, the angle of the slope and the friction). Cheers Ali Quote

alijahed Posted June 12, 2013 Author Posted June 12, 2013 Thanks for the reply, Can you please run the attached file under gravity for me? For some reasons I cannot apply proper "Insert Joint" on this model. Cheers Assembly1.zip Quote
JD Mather Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 For some reasons I cannot apply proper "Insert Joint" on this model. Cheers And what is the "proper" joint? You need a 3D Contact Joint. (In my original post I also had a Spatial joint, but you don't really need it in this case. Your assembly works as expected when I add 3D Contact joint. Quote
