Hoover Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 When I zoom in on shapes that are made up with arcs, they look very choppy. If I am looking at an arc, it looks like a straight line until I click on the center of the arc. After clicking on the center of the arc, the line takes the shape that it is supposed to be. Is there a way to make the arc look like an arc without clicking on the center of it? Quote
wannabe Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Can be annoying this one; especially when your viewports are shaped circlular with a circle on their boundaries. One looks smooth and the other constructed from straight edges. Sorry, I cannot help. Quote

soleary Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 try stepping up your 'viewres' to 5000 or so As dumfatnhappy said viewres is the best option. However, you can just type regen and press enter and your arc will smooth out for you. Quote
lpseifert Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 If you use the Viewres command, be aware that it must be set in each viewport. Quote
Hoover Posted November 19, 2008 Author Posted November 19, 2008 Thanks for your suggestions. Viewres is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Again Quote
