Hello,

I created a pipe network profile as I usually do. When I adjust the stationing in the profile properties to adjust the length of the profile, the pipe, as shown in the screen shot, extends outside of the profile grid to a random point. When I extend the profile for say, 100', the pipe shows as it should. As you can see, the other pipes are shown correctly.

Thoughts?

It looks like a bug unless you have the elevation of the end of the pipe end set incredibly far off from (0 etc). I would just manually calculate the level of the pipe at the end and modify the cross section manually.

I've seen pipe ends drop to zero elevation, but I've never seen one stray outside the profile limits or change its properties in the middle.

I have a feeling that's not a "random" point. It seems to align with the bottom of the profile view.

Just a couple of shots in the dark--is the profile view set up for split profiles? Is the "lost" end of the pipe connected to a null structure?

When I had created the profiles, I used "Create Multiple Profile Views." So I created a new, single profile and I still have the same problem. I checked the source drawing for the pipe network and everything looks good. I ran an audit, 5 errors, but still have the same problem. I use pipe networks on a regular basis and have never had an issue like this.

Thanks for the help!

I checked another drawing that references the same pipe network and the profiles are fine. Must be a glitch. Strange
