changespace?

not quite sure what you mean.

in PS, doubleclick in the viewport, select the object, then changespace, enter. (or similar).

perhaps lock the vp first.

I mean when i try to copy a title block which already drawn from Model Space and then paste it at Perper space sometimes does not fit unless you go to Page Setup Manager and tick at Fit to paper, by doing so this affects the space that someone would have already set from separate View port. please help me on that.

thank you

still sounds like changespace will do what you want.

but if it doesn't fit nice, perhaps it needs modifying/re-drawing?

What are the dimensions of the title block?

What size paper are you using?

As a rule, I xref my title blocks, as I often use the same basic configuration for all the sheets in a project. Items such as project numbers, client names, etc, are saved in the xref. Sheet numbers, revision dates, etc, are located in the P.S. but since the majority of what I do is "Not to Scale" I don't worry about the scaling issues.

Drag ur title block to the size sheet you want to use in your page setup, then drag your block to size and save it on your Options, Files, Template setting

but then each title block is separate for each sheet. I find it convienent to save it as a separate xref so that if, for instance, I have to mark the drawings "90% Complete" it can be done quickly.

Also, many times the project number does not get asigned right away, but I need to start setting up the sheets in advance. If it's only two or three sheets, it's no big deal, but I recently completed a project with over three hundred separate sheets. and I had to change one of the title elements in the middle of the project because someone above me wanted to do that.

They will be xref'd if you save it in your settings

I create all my title blocks as an AutoCAD block on my template drawing files. I find this an easy way to quickly amend the info on all sheets. (We don't use sheet sets)

I create them first in Paperspace and the use the WRITEBLOCK command.

You could also insert them as a block by saving one generic block in the model space of a drawing and run the INSERT command.

A simple copy and paste from model space? In paperspace the units should be set to the same as the plotting units. In our case it is millimeters, so then it's simply a matter of scaling the rectangular title block to match the paper size, minus the margins.

To use the CHANGESPACE command it would first need a viewport at 1:1, then from the layout tab select the title block through the viewport and run the command. It will pull it straight through.

You are correct that "Fit to Page" is not what you want, so it will be worth persisting until you solve it.
