che_beaver Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Working with AutoCAD 2012: I have a solid object whose layer I make transparent. It is transparent, but it leaves little grey dots in model space and paper space. Dot size and spacing doesnt' change when I zoom in and out. This is a new machine (Windows 7) and it never happened on my old machine (Windows XP). I want the dots to go away. Here is the DWG file: Drawing1.dwg I searched the forum, but couldn't find the same problem. Thanks for any help. Quote
ReMark Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 No such problem here using 2013. Could it be a system variable of some sort? Quote
nestly Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 (edited) Transparency takes a lot of video horsepower. I see the same thing as the OP's screenshot when I disable Hardware Acceleration. Either turn on Hardware Acceleration, or try upgrading your video driver, hopefully your video card is up to the job. Edited June 24, 2013 by nestly Quote
che_beaver Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 Hardware acceleration did the trick. Many thanks! Quote
