procrash Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Hi, I'm trying to model the following object in Autocad: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3to38dovefux9hx/Shark1Reduced.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/ismvejlt5m3jw81/Shark2Reduced.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/v6kosctdnzvm79o/Shark3Reduced.jpg So far I'm just at this point: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1aziplii9voetnq/Shark4.tiff I must admit I'm an Autocad beginner and have seen some tutorials on youtube to get into the tool. The autocad thing which you see is a basic rectangle extruded along a path. I rounded two of the corners of the rectangle. As I have absolutely no clue how to model the sides perhaps you could have an idea of which primitives that thing consists. Quote
ReMark Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Perhaps with the right number and size of profiles the LOFT command could be used to create the basic shape. What progress have you made so far? Quote
Titi95 Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Hello just be here to help you track I do not have time to do more detail (missing rounded, etc ...) must use "spling" and "smoothing" (sorry for my broken English) Quote
