mbuilder
Hi, I'm a builder that is after a relativelty low cost AutoCAD program that I can design sections and details of my current projects and email or print them off for my suppliers, clients etc. Such as sections of window details or kitchen cabinetry. I have basic to average computer skills and have a familiar knowledge with Autodesks', AutoCAD program. Is there a app for mac desktop that will get me on my way. Thanks. JD Mather
Are you looking for an add-on to AutoCAD Mac? You should be able to do this without an add-on. Do you have AutoCAD?
mbuilder
No I had access to AutoCAD at the company I previously worked for. Now I'm working for myself I'm after a basic program to get me started. Cashflow is tight so I thought an app from the app store or something similiar. ReMark
Strictly 2D but DraftSight is a free AutoCAD clone that is available from dessault systemes. It is so similar you'll feel right at home in no time. Reads and writes to the DWG file format current to 2010 version.
