LifeoRiley0 Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I am using 2008, so i dont know if its the same, but 'CTRL+3' brings up my tool pallets. This does work in 2009. You can also go to the "Window" pulldown and select "Tool Pallettes" Quote
danthemann228 Posted November 20, 2008 Author Posted November 20, 2008 Yeah that is what i have done. The thing is, it says that the tool palette is up but it is not showing up on my screen. I am thinking that someone has moved it so far over you can't see it and I have attempted to drag it back over but nothing happens because I can't find it on my screen. On some of the other computers you can just go to project browser and open up a new project and it works. I tried that on my computer and nothing happens. People are stating the only way to fix the issue is to re-install the program on all the computers that are having the problem. The teacher says any student that can figure the issue out will receive extra credit. So if you guys/girls can help me out that would be great Quote
LifeoRiley0 Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 If that is the case try resizing your monitor under display settings. I just tried this and it worked for me. Quote
danthemann228 Posted November 20, 2008 Author Posted November 20, 2008 I am confused. You mean the display buttons that are located on your monitor or go into Control Panel and change them from there? Quote
danthemann228 Posted November 20, 2008 Author Posted November 20, 2008 Ok I will see if that works tomorrow when I have the class again. If not, I will inform you Quote
danthemann228 Posted November 21, 2008 Author Posted November 21, 2008 I went into the control panel and went to display but it is blocked by the adminitstrator and I can't do anything about that. The thing is, I don't think that is the problem now anyways. When I booted up the program and I saw the tool palette for about 2 seconds then suddenly it disappeared and I couldn't see it anymore. tzframpton Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 The tool palette is on AutoHide. look towards the far right or left of your screen, see if it's docked. Hover the mouse over it, and it appears again. Quote
danthemann228 Posted November 23, 2008 Author Posted November 23, 2008 Don't you have to see a portion of the toolbar in order to get it back up because I see no part of the toolbar at all on my screen. Quote
tzframpton Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Yes, hit Ctrl+3 to make the Tool Palette show/hide. Quote
danthemann228 Posted November 24, 2008 Author Posted November 24, 2008 I see what you are saying. I tried doing this and it still is not showing up EDIT: When I go to Proejct Browser>Getting_Started_M the toolbar pops up. I don't know if this is going to effect my drawing overall or not? (As of right now i'm going to try to create a new project and see if that works.) I have to make sure the tool palettes thing is not on before I open the project broswer otherwise it does not show up. I am completley confused. Quote
