mattd@acdsecurity.com Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Can anyone tell me when setting up a plot, do you set up paper size, orientation, color or black/white in Autocad itself or do you do it in Windows (Start) (Settings) (Printers and Faxes)? Quote
ReMark Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 You can do it all in AutoCAD. Do you already have your printer/plotter driver installed? Quote
BOB'27T Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I set it up in Autocad using the page setup manager. Quote
mattd@acdsecurity.com Posted November 20, 2008 Author Posted November 20, 2008 yeh, the drivers are installed, but when I setup to plot the plot comes out in the wrong orientation than I wanted, so I change it and it still plots wrong. Sometimes my company logo plots sometimes it doesn't or it plots partially outside the border of my titleblock. This is driving me insane!! Quote
ReMark Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 You do check the drawing with Plot Preview beforehand don't you? What printer are your drawings being sent to? Quote
mattd@acdsecurity.com Posted November 20, 2008 Author Posted November 20, 2008 Also, when I setup the plot I look at the plot preview and it shows the correct layout and seems as if it is correct but it plots wrong like I previously stated. Quote
ReMark Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Start > Control Panel > Printers and Faxes > right click and open Printing Preferences. Maybe something there has to be changed. Quote
