PEGAdevelopment Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I'm trying to show a crossing pipe in a profile view, but it looks like a square/rectangle instead of an oval/circle. See attachment. It is the purple one. Any idea why its doing this? Thanks! Doc1.docx Quote
CyberAngel Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 This is a guess, but I'd say the pipe is displaying in profile view rather than crossing view. Quote
PEGAdevelopment Posted July 22, 2013 Author Posted July 22, 2013 Thanks CyberAngel, you got me on the right track! To make the crossing pipe display correctly as an oval/circle, select pipe, right click, edit pipe style, dispaly tab, change view direction dropdown to profile, turn on "crossing pipe inside wall" and "crossing pipe outside wall". Voila! Quote
BlackBox Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 FWIW - Not sure what sort of work you do, but if you need to show a utility profile about the baseline's stationing, in addition to superimposing the utility's PGL, you'll also have to copy any crossing pipes from the intersection point of your utility and the crossing pipe, perpendicular to the baseline alignment.
