Hi there, every time when I align 3d points (shifting and rotating), the elevation of points will change. what I did is draw a flat line at 0 elevation at know location, and use it as reference to shift all points.

Anyone knows the reason?

Try using the 3DALIGN command instead.

I often use a regular POLYLINE to move things around, as they are always drawn flat, and so preserve

Z values when used in this way.

If you are using the 2 dimensional ROTATE command then you should probably be in an orthogonal perspective

before using it. If in an isometric perspective you would likely want to use the 3DROTATE or ROTATE3D commands.
