gbolton 10 Posted August 8, 2013 Hi there, I have a CAD dwg with an embedded OLE object (Microsoft Excel). I am able to edit the text with no problems, but I am not able to resize the viewing window in CAD. I have reset the 'print view' in Excel several times, hoping that this would render the problem. However, it is still showing 1 row of extra cells that I do not want to see. Has anyone else had this problem? Regards, Greg
RobDraw 41 Posted August 8, 2013 Yes. That is why I don't use OLE objects.
ReMark 125 Posted August 8, 2013 Are you making use of a layout and viewports? I am assuming your OLE object was inserted in model space. Yes or no?
gbolton 10 Posted August 8, 2013 Are you making use of a layout and viewports? I am assuming your OLE object was inserted in model space. Yes or no? That is my next option. I thought there would be an easier way. But to agree with RobDraw...kind of a pain. Thanks for your replies.
ReMark 125 Posted August 8, 2013 You could use the TABLE command > DataLink option.
gbolton 10 Posted August 8, 2013 You could use the TABLE command > DataLink option. That is another option, however it would actually require me to save the file and rebuild the table and hope that the Chinese and English characters appear in unison... But thank you just the same!
