muck Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Is there an easy way to put drawings in alphabetical order with sheet set manager? Thank you, Quote
rkmcswain Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Alphabetical order based on what? The .dwg file name, or one of the SSM properties? Quote
Chilidawg Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 If all your files are in the same folder, and if you import the layouts all at the same time, you can sort the layouts prior to importing. That just makes the sheet set in alphabetical order. It doesn't change the order of the layout tabs, if that is what you are looking for. Quote
muck Posted August 14, 2013 Author Posted August 14, 2013 What about after the drawings are imported? Thank you, Quote
Chilidawg Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 What about after the drawings are imported?Thank you, The layouts are in SSM in alphabetic order. The layout tabs will still be in the original order in the drawing file. One of the main points of the SSM is to organize the sheets prior to publishing / plotting so that they can be plotted out in a particular order. You can move the layouts around in the actual file fairly easily if that is your goal. You can also move the layouts around in SSM as well. Quote
