I pick one rectangle, I hit enter and nothing happens.

 

That's why it does not work , you should have lots of closed LWpolylines to rearrange them according to the length that specified earlier ;)

shouldn't be

(/ (- dis (cadr g)) (1+ (sslength ss)))

instead of

(/ (- dis (cadr g)) (1- (sslength ss)))

Unfortunately it doesn't distribute them inside the length specified or as expected. I named your file Spacerect.lsp instead of test.lsp.

 

I guess you are right , because I meant the length from the left corner of the left hand side polyline to the last right corner of the right hand side polyline .

 

And a very good name you gave to the routine by the way . :D
