drunis Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 In the upper right hand corner of most auto cad applications post dating 2012, perhaps predating as well, there is an option to select 3d views and a UCS. The scope of my job dose not include 3D, and this option only gets in the way. Is there any way to remove this from my view? Quote
Tiger Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 I think what you are referring to is the Viewcube, I think the command Viewcubeoff could work. Might also be the Navbar, in which case Navbaroff should work Quote
rkent Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 In Options, 3D Modeling tab, lower left, unselect Display the Viewport Controls. Quote
CADgirl Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 There are a few different ways to turn off the navv cube. This might help- http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?48974-Turning-the-Navv-Cube-off-permanently Quote
Dadgad Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Welcome to CADTutor. The value shown in the SYSVDLG image describes the available options, and you want to set it to 0. For those who only want to see it when they need it, it can be made transparent, until moused over. I never use it, but do like the opacity/transparency option. Quote
