Trisha Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 I wonder how to make a tabel with attributes(I think that what it`s called) Anyhow, I want to be able to double-click on the tabel and then get to change the text:) Quote
Strix Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 basically what you're trying to do is to create a block with editable attributes - even if it is table shaped I'm pretty certain we've had a few threads where this is given the step-by-step treatment Try 'editable attributes' as your search words, or try them separately I'll change your thread title so some should come up automatically at the bottom of the screen Quote
BIGAL Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Using lines of the same block is an easy way to go. You can enhance it to update the block values automatically (using VBA) from picked autocad objects text, distances etc we use this to update pitschedules change a long section level pick it and schedule is updated and new calculations carried out and updated also. As above search editable attributes. Quote

DRAW > TABLE - Specify the table settings and bingo! One click in a cell allows you to add / edit text at will. Columns and rows can be added / deleted as they would in a spreadsheet, and you can set the title and column headings in the table style manager. Quote
