jerfox Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Everytime i type the "RR" a short-cut command for rendering won't work .This error appeared "Make sure the destination is writable and that the disk is not full.Rendering aborted". Please help me out guys..I'm a newbie here and i'd like to learn new things from you in fixing this kind of problem. Thanks Quote
ReMark Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 The error message appears to be telling you that your hard drive is reaching capacity or that you are attempting to write to a device (flash drive?) that may not have enough free space. Have you checked if this is so? Quote
jerfox Posted September 3, 2013 Author Posted September 3, 2013 the things is i am using my (drive E) which has a capacity of 25.0 GB free space. And i tried testing it to my (drive C)which has 39.0 GB free space capacity but still won't work.Is this something related to a video card??or any ?.. nkariuz Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 (edited) When i was learning autocad at college, at times we used to get this error. We used to fix it by going to the Advanced Render Settings window and under general tab there is a Output File Name box, you can maunally put in any drive or folder you want and that should solve your problem. I dont know why it happens but that was our work around. Edited September 3, 2013 by nkariuz Quote
Cad64 Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Why don't you try rendering to window instead of rendering to file. In the Advanced Render Settings palette set the "Destination" option to "Window" and leave the "Output File Name" blank. After rendering you can save the image to disk. This may also be of some help: http://www.dscohn.com/AU/handouts/GD115-2%20Rendering%20part%202-DOC.pdf You might want to consider upgrading to a bigger hard drive or move some stuff off your existing drive. 39 GB of free space is not much.
