kippax Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 They are the only objects on this layer with which this happens. Any thoughts gratefully accepted ? Quote
Dana W Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 There could be 1000 different reasons. Be more specific. Model or paper view? Start by typing regen, then hit enter. I have some troubles like that because of an inadequate graphics card. I regen a lot. Are your leaders just outside of the viewport? Are the leaders & text the same color as your paperspace background, for instance, index color 255 instead of 'white'(index 7). Are your leaders really, really, really small. Quote
kippax Posted September 6, 2013 Author Posted September 6, 2013 yes both the text and leaders are annotative, scaled at 1:1... perfectly sized and visible in model space, not visible in the paper space viewport. yep.... tried regen in both model and paper space. Everything is definitely inside the viewport and they are in red. I'm convinced this has something to do with size/scaling. I've had a really good hunt around the paperspace vie, but no joy. Quote
kippax Posted September 6, 2013 Author Posted September 6, 2013 Bingo !.... Cheers Rob.. changed everything to nonannotative and they magically appeared ! Quote
RobDraw Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 That means that the viewport was not set to the same scale as any scales assigned to those objects. Quote
Dana W Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 OK then. Annotative objects need the scale of the viewport they will be seen in assigned to them. If you are using them in modelspace at 1:1, there is no need for the annotative functionality. Quote
