PaulS00 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Hello, So I have a grading plan that has over a thousand points in it. The original points are kept in a separate source file that is linked to the survey database. These are the proposed points. We received an updated site plan and things shifted a lot. So I moved around some points and deleted and added some in the source drawing. I re-imported the points into the database and then brought them into the grading plan. Some points updated, moved around as they should, but I noticed that others that I had deleted in the source drawing are still in the grading plan. The only way I have found to fix this problem is to delete all the points and re-insert them from the data base. The problem with this is that the points have already been dragged and arranged to be readable and not overlapping other text and lines. If I delete all the points and re-insert, I'm going to have to drag the labels all over again. Moreover, we know the site plan is going to change again since the architect royally f'd things up. Meanwhile, we have to submit the grading plan before we get the new site plan. Thoughts? Quote
PaulS00 Posted September 6, 2013 Author Posted September 6, 2013 I just had one idea: Renumber and add an offset to the point numbers in the source drawing. Reimport the points and delete the points that don't have the offset added to the point numbers. Thoughts? Quote
