SLW210 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 I was not aware of automatic dimensioning in AutoCAD 2011. Can you please explain further? Quote
ReMark Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Are you referring to the "Quick Dimension" feature? The link below will take you to a thread that has at least one auto dimensioning lisp routine and another that might be VBA. Read the entire thread first as I cannot tell you for sure it will meet your exact needs. http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?25348-Auto-dimension/page2&highlight=dimension+lisp Quote
sandy443 Posted October 10, 2013 Author Posted October 10, 2013 Because Quick dimension only support the horizontal or vertical direction dimensioning (One from two at a particular time). So the whole object's dimensioning can not be done in one time........ I am unaware to VBA.... Can you please elaborate it for me...............I will be very thankful to you..... Quote

Dadgad Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 The video links to a bit of add on software, which looks great on you tube. I downloaded the free trial about a year ago, because it looked so great. I found that, for the work I do, it was not as great as I had hoped, or rather as it appeared on youtube. I imagine that you can still download it for free trial, and judge for yourself. Quote

Did you read the thread? VBA is a programming language. Did you download and try Fixo's auto dimensioning lisp routine? Quote
SLW210 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 If you had a program when you used 2011, then either you need to reinstall it or it doesn't work with 2012. Did you check and see if the program was reinstalled? Quote
mdbdesign Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Did you install: AutoCAD 2012 VBA module? http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=12715668&linkID=9240618 Quote
