Why not share problem and the solution for others?

Posted

Ok. The issue was I could not fillet all the inner edges on the door face, because I was selecting 2 adjacent edges to be both filleted at a time. In the end, one of the 4 edges remained unfilleted. Instead, what I did was to select one edge at a time, so it could be filleted independently and I could so finish the door face.

I realised all this just after posting the question. I was not able to delete the post, so I just mention problem solved, not to bother any more with all this.

Just for future reference, there is a "chain" option for 3D solids that's useful when edges are not coplanar.
