noobpro70 Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 May i know how to change the Red Plot same sizing with the Blue Plot ? When i print both plot in A3 format .. that blue plot look clear (scale = 277.3mm) , but the red plot (scale = 945.5mm). Quote
ReMark Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Are you plotting from model space or a paper space layout? Are you plotting both on the same piece of paper or separate sheets? Quote

Tiger Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Command SCALE if the red area is indeed too big. Or in the Plot dialog box, change the Plot Scale to something suitable. Quote
ReMark Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 In the future you might want to consider the use of layouts and one or more viewports. Just a suggestion. Quote
noobpro70 Posted October 17, 2013 Author Posted October 17, 2013 Huh?? Sorry for not understanding .... i'm newbie ;( Quote
noobpro70 Posted October 17, 2013 Author Posted October 17, 2013 How to resizing the red plot same with blue plot ? Quote
Tiger Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 If the red plot is too big, then use the command SCALE (type SCALE at the commandline and follow the prompts) to get the red plot to the correct size. Another alternative is when you plot, in the Plot window, you can change the Plot Scale to something other than 1:1 (which is should say as a default) to get the red plot to print at the correct size And yes, like ReMark says, when you create your own drawings, it might be easier if you use Layouts and control the size from there. With an already done drawing, like this one seems to be - I would use either of the above suggestions. Quote
ReMark Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Those are rather unusual scales even for a metric drawing. Any reason why? Quote
noobpro70 Posted October 17, 2013 Author Posted October 17, 2013 Still can't change it...anyway thank you.. by the way got any tutorial for basic training ? Quote
Tiger Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Not really. An A3 is 297x420, the 277-measurement fits with that. All depends on what margins the drawing have. Quote

What can't you change? 277.3 divided by 945.5 = 0.2932839767318879 or rescale using the REFERENCE option of the SCALE command. Look at your command line. Yes, there are tutorials here at CADTutor. ReMark Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Yes. We may be right or we may be crazy. Quote
Dadgad Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Yes. We may be right or we may be crazy. The two are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Quote
