hi,

i am facing a problem while insert an object from other drawing to an existing dwg., but the inserted contents are not visible.

the layers all r on position, insunits set it to 4, the inserted object layers all set it to 0 layer, no use.

What version of AutoCAD was the other drawing made with?

Could it be there is a clipping plane involved here?

Posted

all using 2012, save all as 2010

and the thing even i cant see if i insert as a block, i can see or edit by block editor command, then that mode i can see.

but when i save and close the block editor, it will disappear.

pl. can u explain about clipping.. i didnt get that

Attach a copy of the drawing to your next post.

Was the drawing made in-house or did it come from someone outside your company?

that all created in my office itself by different people (CAD)

just take a while, i ll attach the dwg, after binding.
