Hi Everyone,

I am trying to make a lisp script that allows me to

-Insert revision triangle

-Draw revision cloud

-Change global width of that cloud to 1/64

The first 2 where easy, but I'm struggling with implementing the width into my script. This is what I have:

(defun c:NR (/ pt)

(vl-cmdf "_.-insert" "revblock" pause "1" "1" pause)

(command "revcloud")

)

Can anyone send me in the right direction towards setting the global width on the revcloud to 1/64?

Thanks

Doesn't the user have to resort to going to Properties and changing the global width of the revcloud?

If there is no way to do this via lisp then maybe the answer would be to use a custom revcloud lisp like the one by fixo is this thread...

See post #7.

I changed my mind. The answer to your question is simply to change from the Normal style revcloud to the Calligraphy style. Make sure you set PLinewid to a higher valve too. You may also have to increase the length of arc. I think you'll have to go through some trial-n-error to figure out what would work best for you.

What do you mean by the with 1/64 ?

Anyway here is a sub-function to take care of that ;)

(defun ChangeWidth (e v)
 (if (eq (cdr (assoc 0 (entget e))) "LWPOLYLINE")
   (vla-put-constantwidth (vlax-ename->vla-object e) v)
 )
 (princ)
)(vl-load-com)

A revcloud is a polyline and polylines can have a width applied to them. The default width is 0.00.
