PEGAdevelopment Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 I need to curve pressure pipe in plan view. I know you can do it in profile view, but I need it to be curved in plan as well. Is this possible? (Besides making tiny pipe segments that appear to curve.) Quote
tzframpton Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Is it a common thing in real-world construction to have "curved pipe"? Quote
PEGAdevelopment Posted November 1, 2013 Author Posted November 1, 2013 Obviously, NO; but that's what I've been told to do. Nevermind though, I got it. All you have to do is start to draw your pipe and press C for curve and go to town! HA! Quote
BlackBox Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Is it a common thing in real-world construction to have "curved pipe"? FWIW - Plans are typically drawn with curved pipes, especially with regard to utilities adjacent roadways, to allow for exact offsets from baseline, or centerline of construction, etc. Prior to Pressure Pipe Networks, we'd have to draw the utilities as we've done for years via vanilla Polylines, etc. and then add our pipe networks for Profile View, and Section View generation, but configure the pipe networks to not display/plot (data reference only). PITA Quote
tzframpton Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Wow, that's just odd, haha. Thanks for clarifying BB. The little "quirks" of engineering. Funny isn't it? Quote
