Autocad scaling problems. Imported icon much bigger that others?

When i select icons with a scaling of 1.000 it is very very small, and I have to set it to around 30 to have a decent size with normal zoom.

But I have just importet a circuit breaker as a .dwg and when I import that one it is huge! I have to scale it to 0.1 or something.

How can I set a uniform scaling factor for the icons?

It is Autocad electrical 2014. I have also tried with different sheets, but it does not seem to work.

Oh, how do I convert an icon to metric?

does scaling the small icon (block?) up by 24.5 make it the exact correct size?

Do you know how to use the scale command?

1 inch = 25.4mm (not 24.5 as indicated in post #4)

1 mm = .03937 inch

You should be able to attach *.dwg files here.

In any case, it is a simple matter to measure current size and apply scale factor to get desired size.

(Scale with Reference is even easier - once you figure out how it works.)
