how do i insert a PS file in to a DWG

i need advice on how to insert a PS file in to a DWG...

What do you mean by "PS"? Is about Post Script format? According to this, you can convert it to a PDF, a format that you may insert easily into AutoCAD using PDFATTACH command.

Hi thanks, i have attached as a pdf, how do i remove the outline box from around the image...

Please set the PDFFRAME system variable to 0.

that works great.. thanks... Can i convert the image to a block, i want to be able to produce a spreadsheet to count and list the blocks to simplify

Unfortunatley I don't know if you can create a block out of an image or PDF and don't have AutoCAD right now to test. Let's hope someone will be able to give you a solution soon.
