Please tell me anyone, How can I Draw a line directly centimeter. I Know Inch setting. I want to I select line tool then enter 1, draw 1 centimeter line. I am Use AutoCAD 2007. Regrads.

AutoCAD draws in units so 1 unit can be equal to anything you want. That said, I would suggest starting with a metric template like acadiso.dwt and that will aid you in creating a metric drawing. The default template AutoCAD uses is set to use imperial units (decimal inches).

I will be sure to draw the right way to do the Drawing in cm?

when you draw just make sure everything is to scale, so 1cm is drawn at 1 unit, 10cm at 10 units etc.

I agree with ReMark, make sure you are using a metric based template.

If you are drawing in metric on an Imperial based template,

then all your default scales will be described fractionally, which really annoys me.

If you are using a metric template your default scale list will be metric.

If you typically work in Metric then you should set your DEFAULT QNEW TEMPLATE

to a metric one.

Right click in your commandline to access and select OPTIONS.

Click on the FILES tab, then reference the attached screenshots.

In addition to the templates ending in ISO, there are other discipline specific

metric based templates available.

By selecting one of these metric templates you will ensure that

when you start a new drawing, by using QNEW, it will be started

on the template of your personal choice.

In order to confirm that you are drawing in whatever units you choose,

you can use the -DWGUNITS command (include the hyphen),

looking at the commandline history image, you will see that centimeters

is 4, I always use 3, as I draw in mms.
