davesec Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 hi! my drawing is set in millimeters the drawing i want to xref (which i only have read-access to and can't modify) should be in millimeters, but the UNITS are set to inches.. so the door appears to be 900 inches instead of 900 mm for example. is there a way to bring this drawing in at the correct scale? i was looking at INSUNITS but it doesn't really have something that would set up my scale factor to 1/25.4, which i think is what i would need to do this.. is there a way to do this without manually scaling the xref after it's brought in? thanks! davesec Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 no but i will and will let you know how it goes! Quote
RobDraw Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Drawn in inches with mm values, really? Get whoever is in charge of that file to fix it! If that is not possible, you could always scale the XREF. I've never had to play with INSUNITS so BB may have something there. Quote
BlackBox Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I've never had to play with INSUNITS so BB may have something there. I haven't had to mess with this for several years, but if memory serves, INSUNITS == 0 basically maintains a 1:1 unit scale, regardless of unit type (i.e., MM, INCH, FT, etc.) if that makes sense?
