BikeGuy Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Hello; quick question that I hope is not too simple. If I have a part with a large radius on it, when I dimension the curve, the centerline is off the sheet and looks amateurish. Would there be a way to trim the dimension line so that it only extends off the part a short way? Thank you in advance for the advice. I appreciate the time. dimension-radius.zip Quote
Dadgad Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 In Autocad Vanilla you would use the DIMJOGGED command, which lets you select a center location override. I realize that you are using Inventor, should think there must be a way to do it. Your profile says you are using Inventor 2008, did you mean to post this in the SOLIDWORKS forum? Perhaps a moderator could relocate the thread? Quote
JD Mather Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Two options for this problem. Click on the dimension, or right click on the dimension. Quote
