engatty Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 (edited) Anybody out there familiar with 2004 SolidWorks? I've taken most of the online tutorials successfully and now am working on my first designs. I find the Block icon on the annotations toolbar, but cannot make the icon active. I've read everything about blocks that I can find in Help. Have diddled-around with selecting sketch geometry, but CANNOT CREATE A BLOCK. -E Edited December 14, 2013 by engatty adding a second question Quote
JD Mather Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 More information is needed. Attach your file here. Are you in an active sketch? Quote
vertical horizons Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Here is a posting from the Solidworks tutorial on creating blocks. Hope it helps ... http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?44-SolidWorks Quote
ILoveMadoka Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 The icon isn't active if you're not in a sketch. Quote
