Problem with SAT file

Hi All,

 

Normally when I open other SAT files, I receive it in Inventor as an assembly file.

But on this file I get it in ipt format.

 

How can I convert it to assembly file?

When opening the file select the filename, but before opening click on Options to see what options have been set.

or

go to Manage tab>Make Components and this will push out the parts (you select) and create the assembly. (keep the original with the new files - do not delete it)

I have played with your first option previously but couldn't make it, however your second option was really cool.
