Dear All;

 

300 is one of the text object,

the other text object is 1215/LP/300

 

Example:

If I change the above text to 100, the below text should change 1215/LP/101

I want to link the text object values as shown Image attached

I think this is enough explained......

Seems like you want to increment a number but your example (100 to 101), expressed in words, does not appear to agree with what you say in the attached image (300 to 301). Which is it?

 

Is 1215/LP/300 an attributed block?

 

Have you tried searching on....

 

"diesel expression"+"increment"

 

...to find examples of diesel macros that increment numbers?

Did you try the recommended search? I did and I found at least three results where incrementing a number was discussed as part of the macro.

You need to use a formula in your field, select formula in the left hand column and in the formula box right click and choose insert field again. This time select object from the list on the left and then pick your text object that contains 300,pick the contents property (and click OK once), back in the formula add in "+1", that's it. If you change the value of the 300 text you will need to do a regen but the field will update accordingly.
