jchandler5008 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 I need to import a pump model from a vendor into a model I've created in MEP 2011. I tried to open the .IAM file in AutoCAD 2013 using the Import function however I keep getting an error which says "The specified file is invalid or unsupported". Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Quote

(cannot open a 2014 version file in AutoCAD 2013) Also, you will need the Inventor *.ipt (part) files that go along with the *.iam (assembly) file. The assembly file is only a list of hyperlinks and instructions (for AutoCAD) on how to assembly the parts. Can you zip and attach the files here? Do you have access to Inventor? Quote
