Hello,

What is the possibility to use LibreOffice or OpenOffice with AutoCAD instead of MSOffice?

I wrote a lisp to import data from Libreoffice spread sheet to ACAD but I could not update this spread sheet by outputs from ACAD. Any help.

Thanks in advance,

Hesham

Hi Hesham,

Are you you importing your LibreOffice dataset to AutoCAD as a csv format or have u specified a different file type? What type of information is saved in the spread sheet - would it be survey points, parts, schedules etc..

Hi Jammie,

Thanks for your reply. There is a sort of integration between AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel; for example when I copy table from Microsoft Excel to the AutoCAD and I update the data in the excel sheet it reflects automatically in the Data that have been copied from the excel sheet.

But I can't do the same with LibreOffice Calc.

Thanks for your help.

Hesham
