HHegazi Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Hello, What is the possibility to use LibreOffice or OpenOffice with AutoCAD instead of MSOffice? I wrote a lisp to import data from Libreoffice spread sheet to ACAD but I could not update this spread sheet by outputs from ACAD. Any help. Thanks in advance, Hesham Quote
jammie Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Hi Hesham, Are you you importing your LibreOffice dataset to AutoCAD as a csv format or have u specified a different file type? What type of information is saved in the spread sheet - would it be survey points, parts, schedules etc.. Quote
HHegazi Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 Hi Jammie, Thanks for your reply. There is a sort of integration between AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel; for example when I copy table from Microsoft Excel to the AutoCAD and I update the data in the excel sheet it reflects automatically in the Data that have been copied from the excel sheet. But I can't do the same with LibreOffice Calc. Thanks for your help. Hesham Quote
