jbgraphic Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I am having trouble getting the correct view to be able to dimension the dimensions circled in red correctly on my drawing, any ideas what I am doing wrong or tips to help me. Thanks P15-4.SLDPRT p15-4.SLDDRW Quote
bhamze Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Try the relative view command. Without looking at your model you may need to create reference geometry for proper alignment. Quote
steven-g Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 If you are drawing this in 3D then you need to align your UCS so that the XY plane is where you want the dimensions to be. If it's isometric you should look at the oblique option in the DIMEDIT command here Quote
JD Mather Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 What book is that take from? I think there is some information missing from the original image. Quote
jbgraphic Posted February 2, 2014 Author Posted February 2, 2014 It is Madsen/Madsen Engineering drawings. I am sure there is either something missing or incorrect with the drawing, there always is with drawings in this book. Quote
