ColinPearson
So, I have a pretty extensive list of commands that I've changed aliases for and I wouldn't survive without it. Recently, our evil IT department did something and my FLATSHOT command is not being called by the shortcut FS anymore; now I'm getting the Express Tools command FASTSELECT which I don't have any use for. I looked in the .PGP file and "FS" is still there for FASTSELECT, but I don't see where that FASTSELECT command is listed so I can change it to something else and have my FS back. Any ideas out there this morning?
ReMark
Are you sure you were looking at the correct acad.pgp file?
ColinPearson
I think so... It is the one listed as the Main Customization File, but the thing is, I don't see FASTSELECT in there anywhere. I changed the alias for FLATSHOT to FF already, so I've got a workaround that's probably even better than it was before, just wondered though. ReMark
The acad.pgp file can be edited from within AutoCAD via the Ribbon. Is that how you are accessing it? You can also determine which is the correct file by typing the following at the command line and noting the path that AutoCAD returns. Type it EXACTLY as shown. (findfile"acad.pgp") Press Enter after doing so. The path will be indicated.
ColinPearson
Hi ReMark... sory to let this one linger, I didn't notice that there had been a reply. In the airport today, but I 'll try this out when I land in scenic Deadhorse, AK. Thank for your help (as always!)
ReMark
Deadhorse? Is that anywhere near Treecrotch or Eureka Springs, AK? That would be in the upper northwest corner of the state.
ColinPearson
TREECROTCH?!?!? That's a fantastic name! http://www.google.com/maps/preview/place/Deadhorse/@68.6495625,-144.0124289,6z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x512077009926947f:0x1d228d1ae7281c59 It's a bit east of the middle, up on the northern coast. Brr.
