What is the difference between Object Snap Tracking and Object Snap?

CCAD, Inc. had this to say about Object Snap Tracking:

 

Object Snap Tracking (OTRACK) works with OSNAP and POLAR to helpl align new points with existing locations in your drawing.

 

And NCSU had this to say about OSnaps:

 

OSNAPs allow you to select positions on components in a drawing for locating other features.

 

What OSnaps do you typical enable? None? All? A select few?
