It might be one of these. You will have to rename the file extension back to .pat before you use them. I had to change the extension to upload them. The forum won't upload .pat files for some reason.

Begs the question...can Vectorworks utilize .pat files?

Sadly it cant.but i think you can set in autocad rectangle, put hatch on it and save it.after that you import in vectorworks.but i dont have autocad :(

I figured there may be some sort of import problem, but I got as close as I could. My experience, which is very limited with Vectorworks, is that dwg files can be brought in somehow.

Dana: That's what the link is all about in my previous post.

Yep, figured so.

I think that hatch patterns can only be a series of straight lines. The posted drawing has some nicely curved lines, which could not be duplicated in AutoCAD.

Dana W's posted hatch has straight lines only.

Perhaps the OP is wanting some kind soul to post a drawing which contains a rectangle which is hatched with the posted hatch pattern. What version of AutoCAD can be imported into VectorWorks?

I am not sure what you are referring to, but this is a detail from your posted drawing. Definitely straight lines. You have only to look at the definition file to see.
