Elisabeth83 Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Hope someone can help me figure this out!! I use cutepdf to PDF drawings, but instead of printing out in landscape orientation (most of our drawings are landscape) the PDF is in portrait . I have tried to amend the properties of cutepdf in the plotters dialog - printer properties - custom properties- landscape, but this only results in getting a landscape drawing on portrait paper! so you only see half the drawing! Is there a way I can set my cutepdf to print in landscape on landscape paper because printing to PDF then using adobe to change the orientation is driving me crazy! Quote
MSasu Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 The paper orientation is controled by AutoCAD's print setings - please check that at the right-bottom corner of PLOT command dialog there is a small round button with an arrow that will allow you to expand the dialog to have access to more options including paper's orientation. Elisabeth83 Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 Thanks, but I should have said this was already set to Landscape;) Am not as green as I am cabbage looking! Quote
eldon Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 I have also noticed this with CutePDF, but as I got the programme for free, I have not let it upset me. When I do want to make a PDF aligned as I would want, I use DWG Trueview, which is also for free. Quote
Elisabeth83 Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 Thanks, I will look into DWG Trueview! Quote
