jeffd24 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I have inserted an image into a drawing with the Raster Image Referance, after I have scaled the image to the size that I need I have dawn in a couple if lines and circle as well as added some dimensions. When all is complete I tried to move the image to the center of my page and al of the stuff that I have added doesn't move. Do I need to lock the layers or somthing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Quote
wannabe Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 They're not in paper space are they? (Assuming the image has been inserted into model) Quote
Tiger Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 You want to move the image but not the stuff that you have drawn? Or do you want to move it all together? Quote
jeffd24 Posted December 3, 2008 Author Posted December 3, 2008 I would like to move it all together Quote
JBullseye74 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Hey dude - Type TFRAMES which will toggle ON then you will be able to move it as you so require. Quote
jeffd24 Posted December 3, 2008 Author Posted December 3, 2008 I tyried the TFRAMES it toggled on but only moved the image. Anything else to try Quote
Tiger Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 So...hmm.... you can't move the lines and stuff? can you mark them? Are you in Paper Space or Model Space? Have you drawn the stuff in Model Space or in Paper Space? Quote
jeffd24 Posted December 5, 2008 Author Posted December 5, 2008 All of my drawings that I have done have been done on the model tab. I haven't used layout1 or layout2, I don't actually know what those tabs do other when I select them it gives me a differnt screen. Quote

You will need to use the move command and then when it says 'select objects' put a window around everything (see image). Then move them all to where you want them. PS you should learn what those layouts do Quote
