asos2000 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I am facing a problem when try to open AutoCAD, AutoCAD opens very slow when connect the network cable, but when disconnect the network cable its open normally. Its not only one PC but more than one have the same problem. Quote
ReMark Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 AutoCAD is loaded locally on the user's computer, right? The network is used for storing files and/or printing? When did this problem first occur? Quote
asos2000 Posted December 3, 2008 Author Posted December 3, 2008 Yes, right when open autocad and in the stage of opening the acad.dwt it come 98% then hang the PC for 1 or 2 mnts then open normaly but when unplug the network cable the autocad start normal and fast and the same happen when i close autocad Quote
ReMark Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 And have you installed all service packs? Quote
ReMark Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Could it be this: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=2892762&linkID=9240617 Quote
asos2000 Posted December 3, 2008 Author Posted December 3, 2008 not that reason because the delay happens when opening autocad not when accesses the network. Quote
ReMark Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 When was the last time you did a disk cleanup or a defrag? Quote
ReMark Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Maybe AutoCAD is having a problem finding the network license location. Quote
